The Story of Our Begining

The PanIIT RTP Chapter was born out of a shared vision — that IITians in the Triangle deserve a strong, welcoming home to connect, socialize, support, and grow. Forming this chapter was not easy. Our Inaugurators navigated recognition and affiliation, aligned diverse voices across campuses and generations, and invested countless hours coordinating logistics and community outreach.

Special recognition goes to our Mentors and Inaugurators — Arun Jain, Ashok Das, Prashant Pai, Percy Rajani, Samudra Vijay, and Sonal Singh — who carried extraordinary responsibility during the early stages. They provided vision, stability, and heavy lifting when challenges arose, ensuring that the dream of PanIIT RTP became a reality. Their guidance, combined with the dedication of every Founder, laid the formation of the chapter as it stands today.
